FINANCING FOR FOREIGNERS

In Costa Rica, there is no financing available for foreigners to purchase property in Costa Rica. The only options for financing would be owner financing or financing straight from the developer.

Your final option would be to try Scotiabank of Costa Rica. This bank is the only bank at the moment that will lend money to foreigners depending on your credit history and U.S. income.
