SOUTHERN ZONE FERRY INFORMATION

Road to Zancudo & Pavones Car Ferry – Runs from 6:00am through 10:00pm.  The Cost is 600 colones to cross the Coto River.

Golfito to Puerto Jimenez  People Ferry – This ferry is a people ferry.  There is no car ferry for this area.  The commercial people ferry from Golfito travels daily to Golfito, departing at six a.m. from Jimenez, arriving 7:30 at the muellecito of Golfito.  It returns at 11:30 a.m., arriving at 1:00 p.m.  Commonly two boats make the run daily, and when this is the case, the first departs Golfito at 11:00, or when it fills up.  The price is $2 with additional fees for surfboards and packs.
